Another picture from almost 30 years ago is today's offering. My daughter, Belinda, was sitting on the ground in front of our house. Today she is a very independent lady; and, although the connection was not intended at the time, I like the image and its prediction.
I just look really angry at being posed by the mailbox.

This is wonderful! I thought you added the "Independent" in Photoshop until I read your comment! The colors in her clothes work so well with the flowers and the orange text on the mailbox. I think her expression just looks like a typical child waiting for the parent to take the shot, not necessarily angry. Did you crop this from a wider shot? If so, I guess you were cropping something on the right, or do you have all of her knees? Is that fog in the background? Where were you living then?
ReplyDeleteCindi, this picture is another one taken when I did not know much about photography. No, there was not a wider shot; I cut her knees in the original frame. Yes, I liked the flowers at the mailbox and must have sensed that they complimented her clothes? We were living within one mile of the Ohio River and in a valley. So, I am guessing that there was a morning fog. I have a grand daughter about the same age and I was trying to give the family a comparison.
